Alva Roselius is an artist and administrator working with language and spatiality. Informed by architecture and theater and inspired by phenomenology, queer theory and political movements, her works revolve around power, desire and normality.
They circle around an ambivalent longing for alternatives, resistance and closeness. But also a longing for respite, to not have to resist. Alva is educated at Konstfack in Sweden and DAI art praxis in the Netherlands. Besides her artistic practice she writes for Flamman and Arbetaren.
