The monochrome embroidery highlights the repetitive movements and time associated with the craft, while the tight stitches give the material sculptural, almost artifcial, qualities. The installation as a whole refers
to a construction site. A place where otherwise ingrained movement patterns must be disturbed and make room for something new. But also a place which, despite being understood as an exception, is always part of the urban space. The title is a referens to Sara Ahmed’s Queer phenomenology.
